I'm a russian inventor, I have come up with a new all-terrain concept so-called TESH-drive or transformable worms or adjustable transportation member.Please check out the links:

The novelty of this concept is underlieing in the rubber element as expanded allows the worms roll without crashing the surface of the road with relatively high speed.The old-fashion screw-propelled vehicles couldn't do so.This idea has been patented in the 2010 and a PCT application has been sent too.
In the nearest future I intend to build a new remote-controlled prototype on the basis of TESH-concept.In partnership with Rover Co SPb www.rovercompany.ru This crowd was in charge for construction of the first soviet lunar-rover so these guys are highly experienced in developing such pre-production RC models.As the work will be complete the new working prototype will no doubt attract some attention!There will be new articales in sci-magazines,video-coverages and participations in international exibitions.Apart from building a new prototype the original design of the TESH-concept can be applied in the entertainment industry as a plastic toy,3D model for animation movies and computer games.
The project has already attracted some attention and will get a lot more if all bits of pieces come together.
I've been fortunate enough to get some support from LicotaTools Rus and also won a prize from Intel!
